From Shock to Awe (2018)
Hoe genezen we onze diepste wonden? Twee gevechtsveteranen, die lijden aan ernstige trauma's, verlaten geneesmiddelen om genezing te zoeken door middel van psychedelische medicijnen. Recent wetenschappelijk onderzoek heeft aangetoond dat deze stoffen mensen kunnen helpen herstellen van een posttraumatische stressstoornis (PTSS). Naast de persoonlijke verhalen roept From Shock to Awe fundamentele vragen op over oorlog, de farmaceutische industrie en het Amerikaanse rechtssysteem.
