Blue in the Face (1995)
Al meer dan 20 jaar is Auggie's sigarenhandel het middelpunt van de New Yorkse wijk Brooklyn. Dag in dag uit komen de excentrieke bewoners van de wijk bij Auggie langs om niet alleen sigaretten te halen, maar ook de meest idiote, bizarre en komische verhalen te vertellen. In Auggie's winkel doen zich de meest waanzinnige voorvallen voor, zoals onbedoelde roofovervallen, rappende horlogeverkopers en gefrustreerde buurtbewoners. Dit leidt onherroepelijk tot dolkomische situaties... Vervolg op 'Smoke' uit hetzelfde jaar.
