Lida MacGillivery (Bo Derek) reist de wereld rond op zoek naar de man van haar dromen. Op zoek naar haar man komt ze verschillende mannen tegen waaronder een stierenvechter en een Arabische Sheik. Al die ontmoetingen worden geregeld door haar butler die met haar mee reist.
