Silent Life: The Story of the Lady in Black (2023)
1926: Terwijl hij op tournee is om zijn nieuwste film 'Son Of The Sheik' te promoten, zakt Rudolph Valentino, het stille filmicoon uit Hollywood, plotseling in elkaar en wordt hij opgenomen in het New York Polyclinic Hospital. Na een spoedoperatie verliest Valentino de grip op de werkelijkheid en herbeleeft hij, al hallucinerend, zijn leven in Hollywood vanuit - als een stomme film vertoond in een filmpaleis, het magische portaal tussen leven en eeuwigheid, tussen realiteit en illusie. Valentino, die over de hele wereld 'The Great Lover' wordt genoemd, speelt onstuimige en viriele sjeiks op het scherm en drijft zijn vrouwelijke publiek tot hysterie. Zijn privéleven is echter een complete mislukking: de sjeik kan zelfs zijn eigen dominante vrouw niet tevreden stellen. Valentino keert terug naar de realiteit en wordt verlaten, alleen en getroffen door ziekte. Pam, een jonge doofstomme Valentino-fan, die als verpleeghulp in het ziekenhuis werkt.
