Christopher and His Kind (2011)
De hedonistische cabaretscène in Berlijn tijdens de jaren 1930 draait op volle toeren wanneer de jonge Britse schrijver Christopher Isherwood in de stad aankomt. Hij kijkt zijn ogen uit maar spreekt geen woord Duits. De levendige onderwereld van de homo’s is uitbundig en verslavend en staat in schril contrast met de Engelse gereserveerdheid van Isherwood. Al snel heeft hij, na een hopeloze liefdesaffaire, last van een gebroken hart en besluit hij om zichzelf te gaan ontdekken.
