een AIDS-film als geen ander, wordt het HIV/AIDS-verhaal herschreven. Dit is de eerste film waarin de ongecensureerde POV's van vrijwel alle grote spelers worden weergegeven; in hun eigen omgeving, in hun eigen woorden. Het vormt het fundament waarop alle conventionele wijsheid over HIV/AIDS is gebaseerd. House of Numbers zou wel eens het openingssalvo kunnen zijn in een strijd om gezond verstand en duidelijkheid te brengen in een uitgelopen epidemie.
