Genitori quasi perfetti (2019)
Simona is een alleenstaande moeder van begin '40 die volledig toegewijd is aan haar zoon, Filippo. Om haar onzekerheden als ouder te overwinnen en haar zoon gelukkig te maken op zijn achtste verjaardag, besluit ze hem een verjaardagsfeestje te geven in hun kleine flat en zijn schoolvrienden en hun ouders uit te nodigen. Voor Simona staat deze verjaardag op het punt een nogal verrassend dilemma te vormen tussen haar zoon toestaan zijn ware zelf te omarmen en het vurige verlangen van een moeder om haar kind te beschermen tegen hun potentieel wrede omgeving. Dit is het laatste raadsel dat ze verwachtte onder ogen te zien op een dag die al vol angst is.
