De jonge Caleb Channing is opgegroeid op een mijnkolonie op de maan. Na de dood van zijn vader staat Caleb op het punt permanent te worden verplaatst naar een idyllische verre planeet. Maar voordat hij vertrekt, tracht hij de laatste wens van zijn vader te vervullen. Met zijn drie beste vrienden - Dylan, Borney en Marcus - kaapt hij een rover voor een laatste avontuur om een mysterieuze krater te verkennen. Addison, een nieuwkomer van de aarde, gaat met hen mee.
