Le Diable boiteux (1948)
De film is een 125 minuten durende zwart-witbiografie van de Franse priester en diplomaat Charles Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord (1754–1838), die vijftig jaar lang diende onder vijf verschillende Franse regimes: de Absolute Monarchie, de Revolutie, de Consulaat, het rijk en de constitutionele monarchie. De titel komt van een van de belangrijkste historische bijnamen voor Talleyrand, die hij deelt met de demonenkoning Asmodeus en de Engelse dichter Lord Byron.
