Hacia la oscuridad (2007)
De jonge Colombiaan Jose Gutierrez heeft eigenlijk zijn hele leven voor zich. Hij heeft zojuist zijn studie in de VS afgerond en wil nu een leven voor zichzelf opbouwen in zijn thuisland. Maar dan vindt er een brutale misdaad plaats die al zijn plannen en hoop vernietigt. Jose is het slachtoffer van een ontvoering. Zijn ouders worden al snel op de hoogte gebracht van de ontvoering door de ontvoerders. Jose's vader Carlos wil niet afhankelijk zijn van de corrupte en incompetente politie om de zaak op te lossen. Hij huurt een team van specialisten, professionele onderhandelaars, in om Jose's leven te redden. Ondertussen probeert Jose het hoofd boven water te houden met herinneringen aan zijn voorheen gelukkige leven, maar de tijd tikt genadeloos tegen Jose. Zijn vader heeft slechts 90 minuten om zijn zoon te bevrijden.
