I fidanzati (1963)
De relatie van twee Milanese verloofden komt voor een test te staan als de man een nieuwe baan krijgt in Sicilië. Deze 'scheiding' heeft eenzaamheid en nostalgische gevoelens tot gevolg, dat uiteindelijk kan leiden tot een tweede jeugd voor hun relatie.
