Gilles en Louise, broer en zus, wonen in de buurt van Quimper in een villa aan de zee. Gilles is verlamd en aan zijn rolstoel gekluisterd. Louise heeft haar hele leven voor hem gezorgd, maar voelt zich eenzaam.
