Pacifiction (2022)
De Roller, de Hoge Commissaris van de Franse Republiek op het eiland Tahiti in Frans-Polynesië, is een man van berekening en goede manieren. Tussen officiële recepties en schaduwrijke etablissementen voelt hij voortdurend de polsslag van de lokale bevolking. Er kunnen op elk moment boze rellen uitbreken. Dit is des te meer waar omdat er een gerucht blijft bestaan: er zou een onderzeeër zijn waargenomen, waarvan de spookachtige aanwezigheid een hervatting van de Franse kernproeven inluidt.
