Borderline (2002)
Psychiater Dr. Lila Colleti scheidt van haar man en is er kapot van als hij de voogdij krijgt over hun twee kleine meisjes, die hij grotendeels krijgt omdat Lila's baan, als psychiater voor crimineel gestoorden in de plaatselijke gevangenis, een potentieel gevaarlijke baan is die haar dwingt om lange, onregelmatige uren te houden. Wanneer een van Lila's patiënten, Ed Baikman, wordt vrijgelaten in een tussenhuis, besluit hij onder de waanvoorstellingen van zijn psychose haar te helpen door haar ex-man en zijn vriendin te vermoorden, en vervolgens te dreigen de politie te vertellen dat ze... Ik had het samen gepland toen ze weigerde een relatie met hem aan te gaan. Hoewel Lila's minnaar, rechercheur Macy Kobacek, haar loyaal steunt, doet Baikman zo'n ingenieus werk door Lila bij de misdaad te betrekken dat zelfs Macy begint te twijfelen aan Lila's onschuld.
