In dit interplanetaire honkbalverhaal speelt een groep vrienden een spel op aarde dat wordt opgemerkt door Irwin, een honkbalpromotor in de ruimte. Het lukrake team bestaat uit een adelaar, een bever, een beer, een kangoeroe en een mol. Irwin nodigt het Earth-team uit om te spelen tegen de Outer Space All-Stars, een geweldig team dat overigens nog nooit een wedstrijd heeft verloren. Hun geheim: ze zijn de grootste valsspelers in het universum.
