Als Dorothy en haar hondje Toto in het magische land van Oz terechtkomen en op zoek gaan naar de Tovenaar van Oz, volgen Tom en Jerry hen. Zij hebben namelijk aan tante Em beloofd dat ze op Dorothy en Toto zouden passen. Onderweg krijgen ze echter te maken met een tornado, vliegende apen en de gemene heks van het westen.
