The Hurricane (1937)
De zwarte bokskampioen Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter wordt in 1966 veroordeeld voor drie moorden. Hij is onschuldig, maar een corrupte agent zorgt ervoor dat hij voor levenslang in de nor belandt. Duizenden fans eisen zijn vrijlating, maar het mag niet baten. Wanneer Carter na twintig jaar achter de tralies de hoop bijna opgegeven heeft, komen drie Canadese studenten op voor zijn vrijlating.
