Sam the Man (2001)
Sam Manning ( Fisher Stevens), is de schrijver van een succesvolle roman over een cynische playboy. Zelf is hij een charmante en kinderlijke playboy, maar hij is wel ontzettend gek van zijn verloofde Cass ( Annabella Scoirra). Hij probeert voor haar meer volwassen te worden en haar trouw te blijven. Het probleem is dat het leven hem niet makkelijk afgaat. Hij heeft vier jaar verspild aan het proberen te schrijven van een tweede roman, zijn geld raakt op en zijn vertrouwen ligt aan diggelen. Zijn trouw aan Cass wordt op de proef gesteld door diverse mooie sexy jonge vrouwen. Hij geeft toe aan zijn lusten, wanneer hij e zwoele makelaar Anastasia ( Maria Bello) ontmoet. Uiteindelijk ontdekt Sam dat zijn relatie met Cass het allerbelangrijkste is voor hem, maar komt hij hier te laat achter?
