Foster (2011)
Zooey en Alec Morrison zijn een getrouwd stel dat worstelt om de pijnlijke kloof die tussen hen is ontstaan te dichten. Doordat Zooy niet zwanger raakt, wachten de Morrisons op bevestiging dat ze in aanmerking komen een kind te adopteren. Op een dag staat er een zevenjarig jongetje voor de deur die zichzelf Eli noemt en vertelt dat het adoptiebureau hem gestuurd heeft. Het jongetje is wijs voor zijn leeftijd en het blijkt dat hij het luisterende oor is voor hun huwelijksproblemen. Het jongetje geeft morele ondersteuning en suggesties aan zijn pleegouders en ze vinden weer de liefde voor elkaar die ze eens hadden. Dan blijkt Zooey toch zwanger te zijn.
