Tijdens een vakantie in Zwitserland zijn Bob en Jill Lawrence getuige van de liquidatie van een Franse hotelgast. Vlak voordat hij sterft, geeft de man essentiële informatie over een geplande moordaanslag door aan Bob. Kort daarna komen Bob en Jill er achter dat hun dochter ontvoerd is door de onderwereldfiguur Abbott, om te zorgen dat het echtpaar zijn mond zal houden. Zonder de hulp te kunnen inroepen van de politie, reizen ze terug naar Engeland, en wagen ze een ultieme poging de aanslag te verijdelen en hun dochter te redden.
