Gangster Squad (2013)
Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog probeert maffioso Mickey Cohen de macht te grijpen in Los Angeles. Zijn macht groeit met de dag en de autoriteiten staan machteloos tegenover de voormalige bokser. Daarop besluit Chief Parker een geheime eenheid op te zetten die onder leiding van de gedreven brigadier John O’Mara de taak krijgt om Cohen en diens bende tot een halt toe te roepen. Samen met zijn gemotiveerde collega’s en met gevaar voor eigen leven opent O’Mara de jacht op de leider van de georganiseerde misdaad in Hollywood.
