Marcel et Monsieur Pagnol (2025)
In 1955 is de 60-jarige Marcel Pagnol een bekend en geprezen toneelschrijver en filmmaker. Wanneer de hoofdredacteur van ELLE hem een wekelijkse column over Pagnols jeugd geeft, ziet hij dit als een uitgelezen kans om terug te keren naar zijn artistieke wortels: het schrijven. Omdat zijn geheugen hem in de steek laat en hij diep geraakt is door de teleurstellende resultaten van zijn laatste twee toneelstukken, begint Pagnol te twijfelen aan zijn vermogen om zijn werk voort te zetten. Totdat de kleine Marcel – de jongen die hij ooit was – als bij toverslag aan hem verschijnt. Samen zullen ze het ongelooflijke leven van Marcel Pagnol verkennen en zijn meest dierbare ontmoetingen en herinneringen herbeleven...
