The Stranglers of Bombay (1959)
In India was aan het einde van de negentiende eeuw een sekte van wurgers, de Thugs genaamd, de bron van ontvoeringen, moorden en verminkingen van reizigers die onder hun invloed de regio's van het land doorkruisten. De gewelddadige acties van de leden van de sekte zijn bedoeld om rituele offers te brengen aan de Indiase godin Kali. Een Brits regiment ging vervolgens op jacht naar de moordenaars om ze uit te schakelen.
