Astolfo (2022)
De goedhartige Astolfo, een gepensioneerde professor die uit zijn Romeinse appartement is gezet, besluit zijn intrek te nemen in een oud adellijk maar vervallen paleis, het laatste overblijfsel van zijn familiebezit in een afgelegen dorp in de Abruzzen. Hij is er al tientallen jaren niet meer is geweest. Bij aankomst blijkt er een zwerver te wonen en Astolfo besluit dat hij bij hem mag blijven wonen. Maar daar blijft het niet bij, want al snel wordt het duo vergezeld door een gepensioneerde kok en een jonge klusjesman en koken ze met z'n vieren en spelen ze spelletjes. Wanneer zijn neef langskomt en hem voorstelt aan Stefania, een charmante en gulle vrouw van zijn eigen leeftijd, is Astolfo al snel verliefd en worstelt hij met zijn gevoelens. Aangemoedigd door zijn trouwe groep zet Astolfo een moedige stap en leert hij dat het nooit te laat is voor de liefde.
