Shane (2022)
Voor iemand die opgroeide met het idee alleen maar aan het Australian Rules-voetbal te denken, is het bijna toeval dat Shane Warne de grootste cricketspeler van een generatie werd, en een van de groten aller tijden. Het beheersen van de moeilijke kunst van het spin-bowlen nadat hij uit het voetbal was gezet omdat hij niet goed genoeg was, bleek een cruciale keuze voor de 19-jarige Shane. Hij werd ongeschikt en dik verklaard en transformeerde zichzelf. Toen het succes kwam, kwamen ook roem en bewondering, geld en prestige, maar een gokschandaal, een drugsschandaal en zaken die hem zijn huwelijk kostten, bedreigden zijn carrière. Vanaf het dieptepunt van een verbod van twaalf maanden herbouwde hij zijn cricket, zijn carrière en zijn reputatie als een van de meest meedogenloze concurrenten ter wereld, bewonderd en vereerd door miljoenen.
