Rise of the Damned (2011)
Zes jaar nadat een auto-ongeluk het leven van haar ouders eiste, probeert Jesse nog steeds haar leven weer op de rails te krijgen. De situatie wordt gecompliceerd door het feit dat haar ouders vrijwel verdwenen zijn, net als het wrak van het ongeval, dus er is geen bewijs voor de politie en zeker geen afsluiting voor haar. Jesse gaat de confrontatie aan met haar angsten wanneer ze met een groep filmmakers inbreekt in een verlaten psychiatrische inrichting, ze ervaart meteen een viscerale déjà-vu. Het gesticht lijkt op de een of andere manier verbonden met haar vermiste ouders en bovendien is het gebouw verre van verlaten. De groep ontdekt dat een dokter zijn intrek heeft genomen in het gebouw en hij wil zijn vrouw terug te brengen uit de dood! De kelder bevat ook de talloze overblijfselen van de mislukte experimenten van de dokter, die nu allemaal langzaam weer tot leven komen wanneer ze in contact komen met een troebele substantie die uit verschillende vuilwatertanks begint te lekken!
