Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope (2011)
Documentaire over de Comic-Con San Diego, een vier dagen durend evenement dat sinds 1970 jaarlijks wordt georganiseerd. De Comic-Con bestaat uit een groot aantal workshops, tentoonstellingen en panels. Oorspronkelijk was het evenement enkel gericht op stripboeken, met zo'n 500 bezoekers. Tegenwoordig behandelt de Comic-Con een groot aantal media zoals films, televisieseries, computerspellen, ruilkaartspellen, speelgoed, manga, anime en webcomics, en wordt het bezocht door meer dan 140.000 fans. Morgan Spurlock onderzoekt dit bijzondere culturele fenomeen door het leven van vijf bezoekers te volgen, als ze neerstrijken op dit ultieme nerd mecca; San Diego Comic-Con 2010.
