The Territory (2022)
De inheemse Uru-eu-wau-wau-bevolking heeft hun bevolking zien slinken en hun cultuur bedreigd sinds ze in contact kwamen met niet-inheemse Brazilianen. Hoewel hen de heerschappij over hun eigen regenwoud gebied was beloofd, hebben ze te maken gehad met illegale invallen door milieu vernietigende houtkap en mijnbouw, en, meest recentelijk, landroof invasies, aangespoord door rechtse politici als president Jair Bolsonaro. Nu de ontbossing als gevolg daarvan escaleert, zijn de belangen mondiaal geworden.
