Last Man Standing (1996)
Huurling John Smith (Bruce Willis) arriveert tijdens de drooglegging in het Texaanse grensstadje Jericho, waar twee rivaliserende gangsterbendes drank het land in smokkelen. Hij sluit zich aan bij de bende van Strozzi (Ned Eisenberg), maar ook bij die van zijn rivaal Doyle (David Patrick Kelly). Zodra hij het vertrouwen heeft gewonnen van beide bendeleiders, begint hij zijn gevaarlijke plan om ze tegen elkaar uit te spelen. De enige die het dubbelspel door heeft is de gewetenloze Hickey (Christopher Walken). Plotseling heeft iedereen het op Smith gemunt en er rest hem daarom niets anders dan het ontketenen van de ultieme bendeoorlog.
