I figli di nessuno (1951)
Een graaf heeft een bastaardzoon bij een vrouw die na de ontvoering van het kind in het klooster gaat omdat ze denkt dat het dood is. Na jaren ontmoet zij de vroegere geliefde weer en ontdekt dat hun kind onwetend op het landgoed van de vader werkt. Als hij een fataal ongeval krijgt, wordt zijn afkomst onthuld en treffen de ouders elkaar aan zijn sterfbed.
