Coast to Coast (1980)
Madie is een neurotische, rijke vrouw die ontsnapt uit een psychiatrisch ziekenhuis in de staat New York, waar haar echtgenoot haar had laten opnemen om een dure scheiding te vermijden. Madie lift mee naar Californië met een zekere Charles Callahan, een vrachtwagenchauffeur die door schulden wordt geteisterd. Madie en Charles worden uiteindelijk verliefd en proberen misdadigers die door Madie's man zijn ingehuurd om te voorkomen dat ze terugkeert naar Californië , en een repo-man die is gestuurd om de vrachtwagen van Charles terug te vorderen te ontwijken.
