Late Bloomers (2024)
Louise, een doelloze, 28-jarige woont in Brooklyn, onlangs vrijgezel, een soort muzikant, depressief zonder het toe te geven, valt dronken terwijl ze iets stoms doet en breekt haar heup. Hierdoor belandt ze op een afdeling fysiotherapie vol mensen die twee keer zo oud zijn als zij. Daar ontmoet ze Antonina, een chagrijnige, oudere Poolse vrouw, die geen Engels spreekt. Louise krijgt een baan om voor haar te zorgen. Geen van beide vrouwen houdt van het arrangement, maar het is tijd om de waarheid over ouder worden onder ogen te zien. We moeten allemaal een keer volwassen worden.
