Biografie:

Ellie Anne Harvie is een Canadese actrice die Morticia speelde in The New Addams Family. Deze rol werd oorspronkelijk gespeeld door de Amerikaanse actrice Carolyn Jones. Later speelde ze als Dr. Lindsey Novak in Stargate SG-1 en Stargate Atlantis. Harvie was de jongste van vijf kinderen die in een familie van de Amerikaanse luchtmacht werden geboren. Ze vestigden zich uiteindelijk in Saskatchewan en Harvie ging later naar de Universiteit van Manitoba, waar ze een graad in politieke studies behaalde. Na haar afstuderen verhuisde Harvie in 1987 met haar gezin naar Vancouver, waar ze een tweejarige opleiding volgde aan de Vancouver Playhouse Theatre School. Haar liefde voor stand-up comedy en improvisatie leidde tot extra werk in TheatreSports. Na een opleiding aan de Vancouver Playhouse Acting School, begon Harvie aan jarenlang theatertoerisme in de scholen van British Columbia met "Greenthumb Theatre", waar hij optrad in talloze Fringe Festivals en daarna op de grote podia. Als onderdeel van het Vancouver TheatreSports-team won Harvie in 1995 het Just for Laughs Improv Tournament-kampioenschap dat in Montreal werd gehouden en versloeg hij concurrenten van over de hele wereld. Harvie verscheen ook in Cupid, The X-Files, Nightscream en The 6th Day. Ze ontving een gouden medaille op de Improv Olympics van CBC in 1998 en een Gemini-nominatie voor Best Comedy Performance in a Series of Special. Ze nam ook het roer over van Wendie Malick als Burdine Maxwell uit het tweede tv-seizoen van Bratz. Op 24 november 2012 organiseerde Harvie de inaugurele UBCP / ACTRA Awards, die tot doel hebben acteertalent in British Columbia te eren.
