Biografie:

Scott Hylands is een Canadese toneel-, film- en televisieacteur, vooral bekend door zijn rol als detective Kevin 'O. B.' O'Brien in de politiedramaserie Night Heat van 1985 tot 1989. Hij is in 1964 afgestudeerd met een BA in theater en Engels aan de University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Nadat hij naar de VS was verhuisd, werd hij een van de oorspronkelijke leden van het gezelschap van het American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, Californië, die in meer dan 20 producties te zien waren. In de volgende 15 jaar vergaarde hij een indrukwekkende en lange lijst van credits in film en televisie in Los Angeles, evenals een sterk profiel in de theatergemeenschap, waarbij hij vaak verscheen op het Mark Taper Forum, het Los Angeles Shakespeare Festival en Theatricum Bottanicum. . Hij keerde in 1981 terug naar Canada, bleef werken in theaters in heel Canada en verscheen in talloze film- en televisieprojecten.
