Alondra Berber Mijangos, bekend als de absintdrinker, is een Mexicaanse surrealistische dichter, polymath en kunstheks, geïnteresseerd in het verkennen van verschillende esthetische, filosofische en onderbewuste talen. Auteur van de boeken El péndulo de cal (De kalkslinger, 2013) en El incendio de las mariposas (Het vlindervuur, 2015). Beoefenaar van Midraf kalligrafie (het persoonlijke alfabet voor het schrijven van Alondra) door haar gecreëerd vanuit dromen en veranderde bewustzijnstoestanden. Ze maakte haar filmdebuut in 2022 met de film Nourishment of the oblivion, die in première ging tijdens de First-Time Filmmaker Sessions en de Lift-Off Filmmakers Sessions in Pinewood Studios in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Scenarioschrijver en regisseur van de films Nourishment of the oblivion, The palindrome woman, The death of the minotavr, Mauve, Minotavr I en Minotavr II. Haar essayfilms en hybride kunstvideo's zijn gepresenteerd op filmfestivals in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Frankrijk en Colombia. Haar film The death of the minotavr (2022) werd genomineerd voor beste experimentele korte film op het Hallucinea Film Festival in Parijs.
