Парочка сняла дом с камином на выходные, и только Алекс сделал Зои предложение, как внезапно появившийся местный шериф сообщает, что в окрестностях орудует маньяк, и кроме того — в камине у них лежит проклятое полено, которое нужно потушить и больше не поджигать. Ребята и не догадываются, что прямо перед их приходом чокнутые мамаша с сыном убили хозяйку дома, и паранойя Зои усиливается, когда объявляется весёлая компания, тоже забронировавшая это место через другое приложение.
