Темная башня (1987)
У полиции и ученых-парапсихологов были все основания именовать современное здание, выстроенное по проекту главной героини, зловещей башней: очень много смертей оказалось связано с этим небоскребом. Из строительной люльки с высоты 29-го этажа упал рабочий, который мыл стекла. Охранник-полицейский ночкой разбился в лифте, который, как позже выяснилось, был полностью исправен. Другой полицейский неожиданно выхватил пистолет и стал стрелять в массу служащих, которые по окончании рабочего дня выходили из здания. Три кошмарных ЧП всего за полтора дня, не считая гибели супруга архитекторши, который умер, когда небоскреб начинал строиться! Причем тело его так и не было найдено...
