Молодой студент колледжа готовится стать юристом, для чего пишет дипломную работу и подает большие надежды. Он так увлечен сухими цифрами и информацией, что не замечает людей вокруг. Однажды он роняет диплом в подвал библиотеки, где живет бомж, который подбирает его. Поняв с кем имеет дело, бомжик за каждую страничку диплома выторговывает у студента блага для себя.
