Классический пример «пубертатной драмы», связанной с мироощущением, психологией, поведением подростков. О событиях своего детства рассказывает повзрослевший Элан. Зритель переносится вместе с ним в дни, когда Элан и три других, более старших подростка под руководством молодого инструктора Вика отправились в поход. Лес, горы, бурная река, мост над пропастью… Романтика! Но одна ли романтика?
