Дядя Так прославлен своим искусством традиционной китайской медицины. Как эксперт боевых искусств он также обучает молодёжь мастерству самозащиты. Один из его учеников, Джонни, мечтает монополизировать преподавание кунг-фу в США. С этой целью он пытается убить Дядю Така. Джет, лучший ученик Дяди Така из Китая, приезжает в Лос-Анджелес чтобы разыскать своего учителя. Джонни и его люди не оставляют китайцев в покое, и тем приходится драться не на жизнь, а на смерть.
