Верующие (1987)
Фильм снят по книге Николаса Конде «Оккультизм». Полицейский психолог Кэл Джемисон переезжает вместе со своим сыном в Нью-Йорк после смерти своей жены. Кэл пытается разобраться в необычных событиях, в которые оказывается непосредственно вовлечен. Несколько детей погибают при обстоятельствах, напоминающих ритуальное жертвоприношение культу вуду. Кэлу кажется, что его сын Крис должен стать следующей жертвой. Дело в том, что Крис нашел в парке странный шарик, после чего его начали мучить страшные кошмары. Их горничная оставляет различные вещи ритуального характера в комнате Криса, якобы, чтобы защитить его от злых сил. В конце концов, Кэлу удается убить главного колдуна и спасти сына…
