Выкуп (1996)
У преуспевающего владельца авиакомпании похищают сына и требуют выкуп в 2 миллиона долларов. Гибсон по настоянию жены сообщает о похищении в ФБР, и зритель видит детально выписанную работу специалистов в контакте с отцом. Выясняется, что в прошлом у Гибсона было черное пятно — он дал в свое время взятку и избежал тюрьмы, куда попал другой человек. Фильм имеет довольно неожиданную развязку.
