Костюмер (1983)
Времена Второй мировой войны. Передвижной шекспировский театр ставит «Короля Лира». Знаменитый актер, которого вся труппа зовет просто Сэр, пытается играть не только на сцене, но и в жизни. Однако, несмотря на все усилия, он все равно выглядит обрюзгшим пьяницей и деспотом, который отыгрывается за все неурядицы и семейные проблемы на своем костюмере Нормане. Тот же, как шут при короле Лире, преданный своему «хозяину», прикидывается то дурачком то несчастным, и терпеливо сносит все оскорбления обожаемого кумира…
