Рок круглые сутки (1956)
Музыкальный продюсер, уставший от однообразной музыки больших оркестров, находит в провинциальном американском городке группу "Кометы", играющую на танцах новую музыку. Это и есть рок-н-ролл. Музыкантам предлагают на свой страх и риск выступить на благообразном чинном выпускном вечере элитной школы и они взрывают скучную атмосферу. Сюжет фильма прост, он только соединяет вокальные и танцевальные номера. Звезды 50-х играют сами себя: радио-ди-джей Алан Фрид, придумавший слово "рок-н-ролл", вокальная группа "Плэттерс" и сам Билл Хейли с группой "Кометы", исполнивший первый мегахит "Рок круглые сутки".
