Пик Данте (1997)
Ученый-вулканолог Гарри Далтон, потерявший жену во время извержения вулкана, отправляется на Пик Данте, в маленький городок, расположенный на северо-западном побережье, для того, чтобы заняться там рутинной работой - исследованием сейсмической ситуации. Ученый немедленно обнаруживает тревожные признаки надвигающейся катастрофы, грозящей обернуться концом света. Правительство не обращает внимания на его грозные предупреждения, и лишь мэр городка Пик Данте Рэчел Уэндо, с которой у него завязался роман, осознает весь ужас положения и спешит к нему на помощь.
