Summer of Sam (1999)
Bronx, Sommer 1977: Ein italo-amerikanisches Nachbarschaftsviertel wird durch den Pärchenkiller David Berkowitz bis zum Fanatismus aufgerüttelt. Im Mittelpunkt stehen das Ehepaar Vinny und Dionna, die dem "Saturday Night Fever" nachhängen, und Ritchie Vinnys Freund, der als erster Punkrocker gegen die Gesellschaft revoltiert. Somit ist auch nicht verwunderlich, dass er vom wütenden Mob für die Morde verantwortlich gemacht wird, denn die Gesellschaft ist von Angst und gegenseitigem Misstrauen zerfressen.
