When a Man Loves a Woman (1994)
Alice Green, intelligent, hübsch und schlagfertig, scheint eine glückliche Frau zu sein. Doch die schöne Fassade täuscht: Trotz perfekter Bilderbuch-Familie und finanziellem Wohlstand kann Alice ihr Leben ohne Alkohol nicht ertragen. Nach einer Entziehungskur kommt sie "trocken" nach Hause. Da beginnt der Familienverbund zu zerbröckeln, denn Ehemann Michael sieht sich nicht in der Lage, mit den inneren Tumulten, die seine Frau jetzt plagen, umzugehen.
