The Silent Hour (2024)
Bei einem brisanten Einsatz verliert Boston Police Detective Frank Shaw (Joel Kinnaman) einen Großteil seines Hörvermögens. Als er nach vielen Monaten mühevoll in den Dienst zurückkehrt, bittet ihn sein Ex-Partner Doug (Mark Strong), die ebenfalls gehörlose Zeugin Ava Lopez als Gebärden-Dolmetscher zur Ermordung zweien Dealern zu befragen. Weil Frank sein Handy bei Ava vergisst, kehrt er nach der Befragung zu Avas Apartment zurück und kann gerade noch einen Mordanschlag auf seine Zeugin verhindern. Im Stile von Stirb langsam müssen Frank und Ava nun gemeinsam einen Weg aus einem 14-stöckigen Apartmenthaus finden. Doch die Attentäter haben nicht vor, sie entkommen zu lassen.
