Nurse Betty - Gefährliche Träume (2000)
Für Betty, Kellnerin in einem kleinen Kaff in Kansas, ist die TV-Soap "A Reason to Love" mit dem anbetungswürdigen Helden Dr. Ravell der einzige Lichtblick im Leben. Denn jenseits dieser Traumwelt lebt ihr Scheusal von Ehemann. Als dieser sich mit dem Syndikat anlegt und vor Bettys Augen getötet wird, erleidet sie einen schweren Schock. Von nun an hält sich Betty für eine Krankenschwester und Dr. Ravells Ex-Verlobte. Kurzentschlossen fährt sie nach L.A., um Ravell zurückzuerobern - verfolgt von Killern, wovon einer in ihr seine Traumfrau sieht...
