Showgirls (1995)
Tänzerin Nomi begibt sich nach Las Vegas, um dort eine große Karriere zu starten. In der Glitzerstadt angekommen, nimmt sie zunächst einen Job als Stripperin an, um sich ihre Brötchen verdienen zu können. Nach einiger Zeit macht sie Bekanntschaft mit Cristal Connors, dem Star der Show "Goddess", die ihr durch Beziehungen zu einer Nebenrolle in jener Show verhilft. Doch das ist Nomi nicht genug und so beginnt ein erbitterter Zweikampf.
